Vintage Sqaure Dancing Videos

These videos all put a smile on my face!  The first is from Central Park circa 1945 and the next is Pete Seeger & Margot Mayo’s American Square Dance Group.

Square Dancing-China

I have received a two month residency at the Shangyuan Artist Residency, outside of Beijing.  I am going to document Guang Chang Wu, which translates into square dancing.   In the warmer months at dusk many people in China head to the squares to dance.  Bellow are some links to videos.
